About

Welcome! In pursuit of a proper platform to stave my hunger for writing off, I have set up this page to share my thoughts and views on environmental and sociopolitical issues in Singapore and around the world. I started this page when I was a Full-time National Serviceman (NSF) in 2013. As a proud alumnus of Temasek Junior College and former Editor-in-Chief of Temasek Times (TJ’s official college newsletter), I hope my journalistic skills will do me some form of service or other in my writing. I am also a wildlife lover by nature and a geographer at heart.

From August 2015 until November 2015, this blog was used as part of a project for the module ENV1101 – ‘Environmental Studies – An Interdisciplinary Overview’ for the Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree programme I am currently undertaking in the National University of Singapore (NUS).

  1. Hi there, I love your map of Singapore’s constituencies but would like highlight 2 minor errors on your ’13th Parliament of Singapore’ map located at https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=12vZFyd7VqJyI2v5XOhBK5olnPnw&hl=en_US.

    (1) The boundary between the Tanjong Pagar GRC and West Coast GRC should be between the Prima Tower and St James Power Station. Currently, your map reflects the boundary as just east of Vivo City.

    (2) The MP for the Bukit Batok East ward in Jurong GRC is now Ms Rahayu Mahzam , no longer Mdm Halimah Yacob as the latter has moved to Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC.

    Thanks so much.
